How much does it cost to re-stucco a house? The price depends on the wall area and whether we go over the existing stucco or remove and re-install EIFS acrylic stucco from scratch. A quick site visit to find out the wall area is enough to price the job.
Re-Stucco
This is what we refer to that affordable way of giving your house that brand-new look once again, without removing the existing cladding. The result of an exterior renovation like this is simply breathtaking for the homeowner. And the best part of it is how budget-friendly it is. Give us a call, get a quote from us. A couple of different ways we do this, depending on the situation:
- Applying a new finish over a traditional stucco house to modernize it.
- Installing EIFS stucco with insulation boards over a traditional stucco house to modernize and insulate it.
- Applying a new finish over an EIFS stucco house to change color and texture of it.
- Another way of Re-Stucco is when we remove the existing cladding and install a new stucco cladding afterwards. The existing cladding to be removed can be any type: siding, masonry, stucco etc.. This option is costlier than the non-removal options due to the extra removal stage. But in cases where the old cladding is widely damaged, too old or simply a siding-to-stucco change is desired, this is the right way of doing it.
Whatever you call it — re-stucco, resurfacing, recoating, refinishing or a stucco makeover — it's a new finish over the old one, with no removal needed. That's what keeps the cost down.
